Age of Shaedow
For as long as he can remember, Grak has resented the oppression and use of his people by the Shadow. Sacrilege to speak aloud, Grak had kept his thoughts private amongst the Sword Mother Tribe, knowing that his life depended on the charade of acting the devoted follower. However, Grak was never really part of the Sword Mother Tribe. Born a member of the White Mother Sect, Grak understood that true place that Orcs held among the Shadow’s society; not a valued member so much as a vardatch to be used and broken upon one’s enemies. Grak rose amongst the Sword Mothers tribes, earning a position of Captain. On his last mission at the Shadow’s command, Grak was converted while attempting to chase down infidels among the lessor species. He has now seen the light and realizes there are those that will not stand in Shadow. Throwing his lot in with them, Grak hopes to be able to change the world; for both himself and his people.
While moderately intelligent, Grak was mocked at a young age for displaying signs of cognitive develpment. Raised in a more barbaric society, higher thinking was regarded as a sign of weakness. As a result, Grak still continues to refer to himself in third person, despite seeming more learned.
